Ok so I have been lamp working/pipe making since 98. Im not a master glass blower by any means, but Im not a beginner either. Today I went to a soft glass studio and was talked to the owner. I had some of my glass in the car so I brought it in and showed him. He now wants me to do classes there, doing pendants maybe some pipes and everything in-between. I have had several successful apprentices but never taught a class or multiple students. Anyone have any tips on how I should go about this? Anyone have input on a syllabus or projects I can do with complete beginners? Your help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Dennis

If you've got contemporary lampworking, Bandhu has a section on teaching with a basic supplies list, and a few other tips. I don't have any info for you, other than that, being a rookie and all.

Good luck!
