I will try to keep this short...
I sold my Carlisle cause honestly i was super pissed and swore i would never blow glass for money again.
I was Wrong.
I just got hired to make a bunch of goblet feet and I don't have a torch and they don't have an extra.

I have a stiff budget of 600 bucks, if i had more time that would change. So my best idea
was to get a 72 hole national to blow them out and a 36 hole national for the ovolios ... not really piggybacked, but both in holders.
well after getting the torches the tips the holders the holders the hoses.and a few more things i was at about 420 bucks.

Thats more than I thought. I feel it is a terrible investment as these torches dont have a great resale value.

It may be what I have to do.....

Any thoughts about alternatives would be appreciated (i don't know of any)

Also with the 72 hole tip ..... if i pull scientific points , points on both sides, and wish to blow a aprox 2 inch section of 30 mm scalloped simax will the size of the tip melt my points? is that clear?

Does any one work with the 72 in tip..

seriously thank you

Wale has a Carlisle Hellcat for $695 new, and ABR has a knight bullet for $595 shipped on ebay. Don't know if either of these would work for you.

Glad to help.

The flame atmosphere is as similar as 2 different brands can get, from what I hear. The outer ring has less power, but inner fire probably has more (though less concentrated), since it's a 7 port surface mix.

34 outer ports on the CC, but only 14 outer on the Bullet.

How many goblet feet do you have to make? and for how
much?

Enough to buy a new(or used) carlisle on a credit card and pay it off in a month?

Just one way to look at it, if you'll be getting back into glass again that is....

the bullet burner is smaller than a cc. Iv been looking for a used carlisle for a friend and they have gotten expensive in the past few years. Im never selling my old one. Dont know if they make them anymore but the SSQ was a cool cheaper torch about the same size as cc.
