Hi, does anyone know anything about these? Would it be hard to get these filled? Would it be worth it? I know where there is eleven of these, the guy said $75 a piece and cheaper if I bought a few.

75 dollars to hold 110 pounds.... sounds like a good deal , i THINK a large dewers holds 600 pounds and is way more expensive.

sounds like a rip off tanks should be about 160$ for the 180l so for twice the money you can get 500lbs~ extra oxy.

Are you talking about buying the tank, or having it filled. Guy us selling these tanks for $75 I haven't priced what it would cost to fill them, or if I can even have them filled. I'm gonna find out today.

not sure what that's about. I know a regular Dewar is several thousand. I've seen one used one for about a grand and I wish I would have bought it.

If they are the little tanks to refill the portable liquid oxygen systems then they're going to be a hassle. Chances are they will have a vent pressure around 22psi, and lack any normal fittings.

You can probably make adapters and get them refitted for normal industrial gas fittings, but even if they're made for 22psi you can't really change that very easily.

If you had several of them then flow rate wouldn't be a problem either....but running just one it might not keep up with bigger torches. I don't think those have evaporators in them, as they're not really intended of primary gas use, but rather refilling smaller liquid tanks.

Also, I can get refurbished 160L 250psi dewers for about $1000, they just don't show up very often.

Is there any difference in the dewars for liquid oxy and for Co2?
