here we are on the verge of another one. i felt compelled to be the first to get this going. lets here your hopes and dreams for the new year or anything that floats your boat.
im moving and building a new shop this year. getting out from under a situation i have long been working towards leaving. i hope this year finds many more glass friends, and an end to an all to familiar hermitage. there are alot of people here i'd love to finally meet, and many i'd like to extend a warm wish for a happy new year. may it bring success and a further tromp into the unknown edge of our existence.

Woot woot 2013
I need to quit smoking cigs. That's a little too cliche.
So I need to finally make my bullet hole milli I've been wanting to make for years.

I just purchased my dad an Ecig starter kit at Sams club. I got the starter kit and a "carton" of refills for under 25 bucks!
maybe you could try that?

im in the same boat, quit cigs for almost two months with an ecig, so did the gf, but she relapsed and took me with her ;) or so i'd like to say. if you are hooked up with any smoke shops you should be able to get ecigs at cost and the ecig juice to fill yourself cheaply. can also get juice in declining mg of nicotine. not a bad way to go, but the bars will do you in if you are a drinking smoker.
anyhow, that's somewhat of a resolution for me as well.

Happy new years everyone!!
I hope everyone stays safe tonight, and parties smart. I want to see each and every one of you back here safely!! :chilling:
I'm very ready for a better year. Last year was one of the worst for me; being newly divorced and moving an insane 3 times in 6 months, having my kids get behind in school, etc. It set up tonight for having many choices for new years resolutions haha. It took a lot of thinking to make a decision, but I'm going with improving my shop schedule. I'm still homeschooling both my kids, so it is no easy feat, but I will find a way!
Have fun tonight everyone, here's a picture of my favorite kitty, George, to get the party started. Love you all!! :blowkiss:

Well, my dad tried the Ecig, hated it, and is sticking with two packs a day, camel filters :notamused
New years resolution is to try and have glass pay for itself atleast. I'm a long way from being there at this point.

Just blew out my voice doing "surfin bird" in karaoke. I will start off this year sounding like a hoarse cookie monster.
Happy new years everyone!

I started a two day side job that will get me two months of studio time. I've been having kiln problems, so it couldn't have come at a better time.
I also plan on quitting. E cigs only make me happy when I can put in my own flavor. Unfortunately, it doesn't contain nicotine. They didn't work for me in that respect. The best "pauses" I've had came from going cold Turkey. Sometimes hard love is best.

Yes, I know this is late...but yesterday was the 20th anniversary of the day I married my best friend. :bouncy:
Congrats to everyone who is taking the plunge on quitting cigs. That decision is HUGE and will make such a difference in your life and health...and finances! Cold turkey is what did it for me - finally turned my back on those evil death sticks and didn't look back. I decided I'd much rather be on the planet longer with my kiddos than inhale more pollutants. (I smoked from age 13 to about 40, with a couple of years off in between, so if I did it, ANYONE can!)
Misha, I am SOOO happy to hear you're homeschooling your kids. I think it's the best strategy whenever it's an option (prolly because I homeschool my childebeasts too). I just wish it was an option for more families.
I've decided to make 2013 MY year. I'm going to have an easy, fun, healthy, prosperous year filled with lots of love and laughter with my friends and family. I wish the same exact thing for everyone here. :blowkiss:

Thanks, Chris. Congrats you to and your hubby!!
I have both the kids in K12.com. It's public school but online, and they are growing every year.
So who is sticking to their resolutions so far? :D
