Ok, since handground GOG joints are all the rage, and the diamond grinders are insanely expensive, I'd like to see some manganese GOG tools. They'd be machined just like the holders we all know and love now.....just from manganese. Preferably w/ option to screw into your favorite doorknob to use as a handle if you don't want to go the drill method.
Why manganese? Because manganese will hold up to abuse w/ blast media. Just make up some slurry with blast media, apply to tool, grind out joint, tool holds tolerance for ling long time. Trust me on this, the tool would be awesome, I've built and serviced big ass industrial plate blast machines with up to 8 40hp electric motors, they were built from manganese. Regular mild steel would be eaten to shit in minutes where manganese would last years before needing replacement. Anyway, the tool would probably outlast the diamond bits based on my experience. Unless you're grinding out GOGs full time all day they would last a long time.
