Burtoni / Calm Collab Class - $800 - The Heat Base (Woodbridge VA)
Burtoni and Calm will be coming to The Heat Base with their fresh, R0$$ style. In this three day class they will collaborate on impromptu pieces and show the finer points of their unique sculpting techniques.
The Class will focus on:
Collaboration
Planning technical pieces
Playing to your strengths when working with others
Sculpting hollow and solid forms
Assembly intricate objects
The class size is kept small so each student will receive personalized attention. Each day will have an interactive demo and practice period.
Students are expected to have prior knowledge of lampworking and, at minimum, a year behind the torch.
What to bring:
Torch
Hoses
Regulators
Tools
Personal or specialty glass
For this class some clear and colored glass will be provided. If you plan on doing some serious work, you should bring your favorite glass with you.

We are located just a short ride from both DCA and IAD airports. Accommodations are also so close to The Heat Base you can walk (about 10 min). We are steps off of I-95 for those of you who want to drive.
