so im finally going to start working with glass this week! im very excited that i found someone to learn from, but im also nervous which i assume is good. Im going to be working with pendants and solid items before going to hollow items. So, i was wondering if there is anything to keep in mind while going into learn for my first time. any tips, trick, techniques or advice for a first timer with no experience :puzzled:

Just be open minded and know that the person you're learning from has more than likely done this for years so when your shit doesn't turn out like there's don't get frustrated just practice and practice some more and when your done practicing practice some more. Did I mention you need to practice lol naaa but seriously repition is key. Good luck and more importantly than anything is have fun

other than that I'd say just go for it. Oh and heat travels up and gravity pulls things down keep that in mind.

If you don't understand something ask. Nothing worse than someone who just says yes to something and then 2 seconds later they have no clue what you just said

I have a post in this thread that talks about good things to purchase, and where to purchase them.

Hope this helps.
