I'm only posting this because Seth has funny thoughts about spun glass.. :Tongue:
Made this for a girl who races dragsters at the Great Lakes Dragway, this is one of her 3 cars.Dragster (www.glassartists.org/Images/FullSize/000084000/Img84330_100_1657.JPG)

how in the hell is this "spun glass" tech done.
its really hard to see details in the picture.
is this all done in boro?

BTW the dragster is awsome!

You can basically "weave glass" with any size solid rod, I use 9mm or 7mm. Kinda pulling the glass, turning the rod at 90 degrees and laying it back down one loop on top of the other, somewhat like decorating the edge of a cake, its all angles, while the left hand turns the piece.

I was going to do a vid in the tech section, but don't think theirs much interest on that technique, I rarely use it anymore myself, but it has endless possibilities as what you can make with it.

Hey steven, that is a very cool looking car! I think if you have the time you should do a tutorial :D , i have always wondered about that technique. -J-
