Two new badges to sport!

Hey glass freaks! We have two new badges you can earn.

First, we have a special sponsor badge for those of you who sponsor Armadillo Art Glass Initiative. For more details on how to get this badge, watch for an upcoming thread from Aymie (http://www.talkglass.com/forum/member.php?1968-Aymie) in the AAGI forum. (http://www.talkglass.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?41-Art-Glass-Invitational-AGI)

And we have a new TMP VIP badge for our supporters. This badge will run through the rest of 2013. The old GLDG one is now retired, so if you don't have one already you missed it forever!

You earn this badge the same way as the other one, by supporting our forums. You can do that by donating in some form ie. monetarily via paypal, running an auction or donating supplies/gear/glass etc. There is no set amount to donate, any amount gets you the badge! Paypal button is at the bottom of the page (unless you had ads hidden) and you can PM me if you have another idea on how to be a supporter.

Along with the new 2013 VIP badge, you get 5 times more space for pictures and 10 times more space for PM's. :bouncy:

I tried to think of a fair way to approach this, so how about this - If you joined before 2013 and didn't see the thread I posted on 12/16/12 about the orange flame badge expiring shortly, then you have one last shot to get the og gldg flame. I think it is the last remnant from our name change.

I can see who has seen the old thread. Sound fair, guys? I'm not sure how long to let that loophole go for.

Ok, you can give him a badge, but I am keeping the torch until after the AAGI when I can have some more experienced folks look at my herbie. And he only gets a badge because I am using the torch to donate the required amount in his name.

I'll kick ya something else too... not sure what. And yeah, use the torch as long as you need, it sounds like you might end up shipping the herbie home to germany and I know that takes a minute.

Doug, this torch is a friggin life saver...literally...I need to be bringing in money. You don't need to send anything else...you certainly can, but it's not required. I just don't want it to seem like I can be talked out of a badge.

Hopefully mrs jones won't have to go to Germany. I am trying to get them to send me an exploded view of the torch. If they won't, we will just take pictures as we tear it apart.
