I was pleasantly surprised after this experimentation. What do you think. I haven't seen anyone else do this, but with my luck it's some popular technique I haven't been exposed to yet.

It's actually an encased filter (a little dirty though).



Yep, I've had the tubing laying around for awhile and for some reason I have never thought about using it for a marble. I learn something new everyday. I guess if I ever blew glass with anyone else they'd tell me these things, but it would probably take the fun out of learning them.

i was going to say that cheap bubble gum double bubble... i figured it might be able to take the heat.... consitering its rock hard when i seam to get it

that turned out really slick looking =)
keep playing with that tubing.. i'd suggest putting extra clear on the outside of the tube.. see if that gives you even more definition between the lines. (put stripes of clear over the ribs, making that part even thicker....)

what size tube/marble btw?

It's a 1.5 in. marble. I can't remember exactly what size tubing I grabbed, I'll have to go check.

we been dropping frit in and calling them reeces peanut butter cups.
