wow it has been that long. every once in while i think of when jerry left us and i cant believe it has been almost 11 years. time flys

...heh i met them in 1967 at a show in tahoe. we were hanging in the snack bar during a break. bob weir grabbed my soda and took a drink of it while i was telling them how good it was to have them there. (i did some flyers for the show from sacramento to reno all along interstate 80 putting up posters where ever we could) they were all super friendly except pig pen. i dont know what was up with him but has was anti social at best.

my friends and i used to go to their house in haight ashbury and knock on the door but they wouldnt answer, so we'd just sit on the steps and get loaded. the haight was a blast. if you look at the cover of the beatles sgt pepper, thats pretty much what you saw walking through haight ashbury. damn those were great times.
