That one chucks up 63mm tubing. I thought the other ones were 25 or something? If that spins slowly and true I could use the shit out of it.

You should totally buy one....... let us know how it works out. Did you even read the description and specs along with the other thread on these things?
Yea, definitely let us know how that lathe works out for you Bullet.
I bet you could get a load of work done with it.

I just thought the bore was larger than the others.
I just said I could use it. No way am I buying it.
But yeah, I could use the shit out of a lathe that size. If it was close and I could take my family of master fabricators and welders that currently are lathe runners I would think about it. But i don't have enough knowledge about them myself and people seem to prefer cocky over helpful. I've been blowing glass for a decade now and wanted a lathe for half of that. so when I see one I could buy that would be perfect, I am kinda hoping inside that one of these days someone will finally say "these actually arnt junk" apparently not the case here.

16mm pass through 63mm holding capacity if held on the outside of the chuck teeth, comes unaligned and not trued free of charge VFD drive 1800 rpm 20 inches between chucks.... def the business

I like how they make it seem like truing it is really simple. I don't need a lot of space. I could deal with the width being short, but the rpms make it seem like someone not experienced with glass lathes built it.
So it's exactly the same piece of junk. Not an improvement. Got it. Thanks.

I forgot to mention the backwards handwheel turn right to go left thing as well. That's the super bizzznezzzzz. If you want a small lathe keep your eyes out on craigslist here ebaily the paper for a small f model Litton or that small heat away on the classifieds here.
