Here in NH, a headpiece is a relitivly rare breed in a lot of the little shops, so as soon as they come in the door they're out again, which is great for us glass folk.

I/o spoons sell good, cheap small ones 3 in $9. I tried making some super heavy 4-5 in ones with mad canes and gold fumes for $15 and the guy wasn't as interested. Shops around here buy lots of i/o onies with the constricion top too, not so many push bowl bats. They like it when they got an all clear constriction.

i could never sell enough of my $15-20 i/o spoons to the right stores. any small dry surface work will sell to any shop i take it to. my wrap n rake bubs are the best selling item i have. i could make those till the end of time(and probably be rich) but it gets so old.

i currently work at a shop in denver. the smaller spoons get the most play. i'm sure this is my own bias but i (if i where to buy a piece) would get those nifty fumed i/o colorchanging pieces. when i have a customer and i put a regular i/o piece next to a fumed i/o piece the fumed piece goes and i'm left with yet another i/o piece.... just my $0.02

i know this is an old poll but i'm going to answer anyway. i didn't see pull bowls on the list but i'm pretty sure they sell faster than anything. i know a couple people who make pull bowls all day every day. one of my friends made forty something thousand dollars on pull bowls in a year. he drinks a lot to fight the boredom.

Easily the best seller in our gallery was the fumed double bubblers made by Slinger and Hippo. We sold them for around $250 Canadian.

The selling point was we always let people try out the store bubbler first, since this was Vancouver and you could smoke your customers up, and one they saw how clean the toke from a double bubbler was, we didnt even have to do a sales pitch or hard sell (not that we ever did that anyway).

you got to know thats probably Canadian. As he is a Canadian. As a side note do Canadians like southpark. With all the Canada bashing and Terrance and Phillip stuff. Although they probably have a riot making fun of us but we are such a easy target.

yeah it is. But... What Mermonkey said about Pull Bowls - is that like the slide bowls with a 9mm stem on them for tubes?

wow, that post was over a year ago. but yeah, my boy still makes nothing but pull bowls (mostly on 9.5mm, 12mm, GonG), he still drinks to fight the boredom.

pull bowls are more than just a product that you can make without thinking, they're a way of life.

i hate doing the same thing over and over again. i really try to keep things mixed up. rarely do i teke a specific order, normally i just make the pipes that i want to make and hope to god they sell. ( Is that good practice?) anyways i feel that as long as i keep pushing myself and make the things that i want to make (albeit pipes, although i would like to try to sell other things.) my product will come out nice because i am happy making the things that i am working on. Im deffinately not dissing anybody but what is more important? getting by with less commodities and being happy with what you do, or hating every minute of your work time so you can have that few extra bucks? Oh...... my biggest seller is the 18 to 25 dollar range, surface and i/o spoons.
