Here's a question for you all - I finally got a hand torch and want to hook it up so that it's downstream from my quick connects, so when I travel with my torch I can pop both off super easily AND then only need one connection wherever it is that I'm visiting with my torch.
One hitch is that I've got a 4-stud GTT, which is Y-ed down to two hoses (I never got the foot pedal for second stage), so I think I'd need an X-connector, as opposed to the typical Y-connector. Does such a thing exist? How do I find this? I can only find Y-connectors - do I need to do a double-Y connection?
Also, is there any danger in doing this? Both torches (bench burner and hand torch) are surface mix, if that matters.
Thanks!
Wes.

some will say to use seperate inline regs for the hand torch, plenty don't though and they work just fine.
i think you just need one more pair of Y's, unless you're going the regulator route. quick connects are at your tanks, right?

if you use a tee connector off of the hoses below your existing Y connectors (to the torch) and ran a small ball or needle valve between your new T and the hand torch, you can use the hand torch, but you can also opt to leave your hand torch unconnected to your main set-up by just turning the ball/needle valve off. This way, your hand torch is not always tied to your rig.
But to answer your Q, a T would work fine if hook it up to the single hose portion of your rig, rather than replacing your current Ys with Xs.

Metalbone know what he's talking about. A +1 to his suggestion!:D

Thanks everyone, Metalbone especially. I ended up getting some cross connectors (X's) and have the hand torch all hooked up. I'm still waiting on my ball valves, I guess the folks I bought them from were on vacation (just got that email yesterday, I don't even remember when I ordered those things but it was over a week ago, LOL!) Those small, 1/4" barbed brass ball valves are hard to find!
I also ordered a nice "third hand" and am waiting on that too, but I just ordered that after struggling to use the hand torch from being used to having both my hands free. Someone on Facebook also sent me a link to a video about a cool hand torch stand on a gooseneck, that'd be pretty sweet but will have to wait until that someday when I have some dough again...
Here's an action shot fer ya...
