System 96 compatibility

I have a bunch of 96 frit I use in the hotshop at my school, I was wondering if it would be compatible with boro rod for making some solid practice pendants.

But James Yaun is experimenting with some intentional incompatability creating internal checking to interesting effect.

I know he's posted pics on FB but I can't remember if I've seen him post them here too.

I've done some intentionally checked pieces in boro, and I only use 33 coe boro for those.

96 is a strange brew. Occasionally 96 is incompatible with itself! Depends on which colors are put with other colors. Sometimes even clear is not compatible with some of the colors. I have had trouble with the greens, reds and clear in the same marble and once in a while with yellow and ALL are 96 rods!
