any pros or cons? im trying to plan out a work space. so far the plan is a 8x12 shed in the backyard. any input would be awesome, but im just trying to plan the inside bench layout for now.

If you plan on pulling points, leave yourself enough room to easily work a 5' piece of tubing.... You don't always need a ton of space, but when you do and your piece won't fit in your work area, its kind of a bitch.

okay that makes total sense, i was thinking of doing an L bench, 2.5 or three feet away from the wall so I think i should be able to do that. thank you.

the important part is to get your exhaust positioned right, so your fresh air is coming from behind you, and there's no "dead" spots were the air doesn't move.
and make sure you have plenty of room to move around.

sweet, thanks for the advice. I have a friend that does ventilation and airflow stuff for a living. he said he would do it for me, but ill definitely keep whatever you guys say in mind.

I always suggest buying a few of those colored smoke bombs (any smoke bombs work, but why not be festive?) from a fireworks stand (Amazon carries them if it's the wrong time of year) and setting them off where your torch will be. If any sticks around for more than a few seconds, or worse yet backflows into your workspace, then you have more work to do.
