3rd or 4th try is lookin pretty good =) try putting a planet more toward the edge of the pendant too.. weird magnification happens.

any one know how I would get the ring on saturn? I was thinking about making a tiny saturn with its rings and encasing.....any tips, different approaches. these little space scenes are addictive!

any one know how I would get the ring on saturn?

If your making the planets as liitle marbles, try encasing the marble in clear, and then laying on a latti, or lines of color.

If theyre flat try drawing a line shaped like a bow (ie bow and arrow) and drop the planet right over it, then draw another bow line over the planet to connect the two, so it looks like a ring around it.

Hey Seth, hows it going? Just got home from Florida after about a month, kept telling my wife I was coming home for a week before I really did, wasn't happy about that, but as long as I had money to give her, it was all good. heh heh.

I told Luke Im leaving for Texas this Saturday for a week, but after that, we should get together at his shop in Madison. The 21st sounds good right now if thats when your coming through, I should be home around the 17th or 18th, let me (him) know if that works for you ok?
