Robert Held?

Hey i was just down in the town near where i live and this guy Robert Held has moved his glass studio from Kitsilano(vancouver) to here, and he had the largest hot shop in canada apparently. was really friendly, i will have to go back and check it out further once he gets it up and running. I was curious how well known he was, i am assuming some of you may have heard of him before?

i know him, have had dinner with him a couple times after the buyers market wholesale show. his work is definitely well distributed in gift stores. if you've been in enough of them, you'll definitely recognize the work. its nice simple production soft glass - known for little glass flower details. i know in the past he's done upwards of a million $ wholesale. granted that's a whole team of people working for him

right on. it sounds like he is going to focus on less production and more heady stuff. just down to a team of him and two others now too.
