so i decided it would be ok to let my 11 month old daughter help me on the computer last night, turns out it was a bad idea. i dont know what she did, but i was on the mp and she hit the keyboard, bam, the whole page shrank to almost impossible to read. everything is so very small, and i cant figure out how to reverse what she did. it almost looks like what you would see when you use a phone to see a web page before you zoom in, i just cant zoom, and its only on the melting pot. if any one knows how to fix it it would be awesome..

Hold Ctrl and click either up or down.

Can't remember which does which.

Or hold Ctrl and scroll with your mouse, if you have a scroll on it.

Hit control (or the equivalent key for a mac) and the number '0' at the same time.

Changes page zoom to default.

ok, i fixed it, it took a while, but i noticed a magnifying glass on the toolbar i never noticed, clicked it, everything went back, but i still dont know how she did it, it was kinda cool, every post had the pictures side to side, no scrolling to view

i think i figured it out, took awhile, but i noticed a small magnifying glass on the tool bar, never saw it before, clicked it, it went back the right way, but i still dont know how she did it, i would like to know, it had every posts pics going from side to side instead of up and down, very tough to read, but for viewing picture threads, very cool

Hold the control button, and scroll your mouse wheel back towards yourself. Alternatively, if you're on a laptop, hold the control button and and swipe from top to bottm on the right side of your touchpad.

Universal methods without needing more info.

put yout left index finger in your right ear, and, using your right hand, rub your mouse on your left temple while singing "mary had a little lamb". this should reset your screen.

If it doesn't, have someone take a picture of you doing the steps above and post it here, and our top experts will analyze the pixels to see if there's another solution we can sell you.

(does anyone bother to read the OP's follow up posts? glad you got it fixed)

I did not know that.

Well, in that case, you should take your right index finger and stick it in your left nostril. Rotate counterclockwise while using your left pinky to hit CTRL and your left thumb to tap out the bassline to Queen's "Under Pressure" on your touchpad. This should restore your automatic update settings and help avoid future problems. :D
