Hey glass family! Are you one of those bad asses who makes big glass? If so, these grabbers are made just for you! :devilish: Made and donated by highwater (http://www.talkglass.com/forum/member.php?23278-highwater) of www.Steelheadglasstools.com (http://www.steelheadglasstools.com/), who is a glass artist himself for over 13 years.
I have been flameworking for about 13 years. As my skill has grown, so has my own need of high quality tools. Flameworking turned from hobby to real job for me about 9 years ago. I began making my own tools because I needed more than what I could find in the catalogues. I hope to continue honing the tools that can streamline the creation process. I also enjoy fishing and spending time with my wife (not in that order).
I think we can all agree that glass artists make the best glass tools and he designed these very well. I have a pair so I can vouch for the high quality! Also, everything on these is replaceable!
These claw grabbers are best that can be made in my humble opinion. I started designing and making these grabbers about 5 years ago because I needed a better tool than what was readily available. I am sure you will love them too. They can securely hold a bubble from 2" to 7".
I certainly agree with that! These are the nicest pair I own and I own quite a few. Also, the biggest I own! :D I wanted a pair like this for years; thanks for designing them, Dan!! And thank you for the awesome donation and support of TMP! :blowkiss:
Dan also does custom tools, so keep that in mind! :D
