TI bike spoke
TI nail (possibly)
TI hip replacement

I think you see what I'm getting at. Any piece of TI will work.

I will look her in a min we had a member making scribes cheap. I had a round nub type that looks like a grey pen.
This other guy sent samples to a few of us and they where well made double enders. He sent me 2for free.

Grade 2 titanium rod ... I ordered a bunch of it ... my guy with a metal lathe can't work it .. Have herd bike spokes work in a pinch ... some tent stakes are titanium also ..

Grade 2 titanium is unalloyed, relatively pure titanium. Amazon has 1 ft of 1/8" grade 2 titanium rod right now for $5 with free shipping on orders over $35.

How do you cut/shape it, though? Was thinking of cutting with a Dremel, then shaping it by chucking it up in the Dremel and spinning it on some sandpaper. I don't guess that chem-sharp works on titanium?

I would just use the "Ti Pen" I've already got, but I read somewhere that somebody got better results by holding the piece of Ti in a Dremel, and I want to try that.
