Helloo folks,
I'm Chuong, 22, pronounced like cheech and chong. ( Its my real name .-. ) Anyhoot, I've finally decided to dive into the glass world after a few years of wanting to learn it. I'm planning on going full pursuit and try my way as doing it for a career. I'm pretty determined into making a name for myself one day. I didn't think I'd have my equipment for a while but surprise surprise, the universe has helped me find things without too much waiting. Here's the equipment I've managed to get so far for my studio:
- A new GTT Lynx (thanks to trev's)
- A Glasshive regular guy kiln with punti doors
- unlimited oxygen M-20 oxycon
- wook workbench with tiles on top
- 350 cfm fan (kinda iffy if i should upgrade to a higher one?)
i know im missing a few key tools and such like glasses and marvers. BUT woohooo I feel so giddy having all these things. If anyone have tips for a noobie like me, please share, it can be about anything :D
Also, tomorrow will be my first lesson @ Lazydaze and Flameworks Glass Blowing Studio in san antonio. im so exciteddd. hope to meet some of u guys who live in texas eventually. Cheers all!
