I find it more organized I guess, you can have all your favorite forums, in one spot and see what's new or post on the fly, I didn't really like taptalk at first either but after a while I grew to love it especially when trying to navigate some forums through the phone browser

I like how it notifies you when someone quotes your post. And it has it's own image hosting built in. I haven't used that yet but still seems like a handy feature.

The admin options suck. :lol

any advantages over ForumRunner?

One advantage i can think of off the top of my head is that tapatalk also has tokecity forums as forum runner does not.

it seems quicker than forumrunner, and as another advantage you can use it on lots of devices, not just iphone like forumrunner.

It's free, try it out. :) I'm still switching back and forth between all of them...probably always will as I have to test everything.

ya i still dont get it, i mean, when you are on a pc its in a certain format. that format seems to work fine on the phone as well. i dont see why changes are necessary to the browser for phones, i just use a firefox clone.

wait, actually it doesnt seem i can log in that way, but i can on other sites.

Dang...

It was kind of nice to have one forum that was inundated with Tapatalk ads after every other post.

I use chrome on my giant phone. It works great AND it doesn't spam forums with ads.

I know how easy it is. I also know that only one out of fifty will actually do that... maybe even less. :D

I didn't even see this thread at first. I found out that tapatalk was in use from this thread:
http://www.talkglass.com/forum/showthread.php?52899-Brand-New-GTT-Cricket&highlight=cricket

I shed a single tear, then searched for some announcement and found this thread.

I found an advantage I think is worth posting about.

When you click on a pic to enlarge it, it lets you scroll through all the pics in the thread. :D

When you are using tapatalk to post there are options to turn off your signature. This will default back to your original signature you set in your profile and avoid flooding the forum with "Sent from iPhone using tapatalk"

Please turn off the tapatalk signature! Thank you!!

Also take note I'm not using the tapatalk picture hosting. Use the built in one here which tapatalk refers to as "attachment" so that your pictures aren't deleted by tapatalk. ;)
