I have a Invacare Homefill system, It has just stopped filling my tank!:bummed:
The concentrator is getting to purity and I can feel the O2 coming out of the threaded nipple on the front of the concentrator. I also checked the curly med hose that came with the concentrator and air flows through nicely it has no defects. The compressor says that it is filling but the gauges is stuck on 200. I believe the gauge is working too, because the full light on the compressor never comes on. I feel like if the O2 wasn't going into the compressor the LPM gauge on the concentrator would sink because of pressure build up. I think the O2 is just not making it out of the compressor into the tank. The whip seems fine. I took the cover off and the only thing that catches my attention is the vertical motor is very hot almost to the point of scalding. What would cause this and/or is this the cause of the failure. If you have any ideas let me know...Thanks for your time. -Rooster

my guess is the bearings in that hot motor are seized. was it getting noisy?

I'm hoping that all I need to do is replace the motor. Everything turns where its supposed to, that motor just gets really hot. And no..... its didn't get noisy. I'll keep trying. Might try hard wiring the hose to the machine though. Thanks for the vid.

Did it work,, if not suck harder and tap that shit some more, if it doesn't feel like it's binding while turning the pump wheel by hand prob stuck chkvlv,, but you can take belt off and run motor for while see if it heats

Already took the motor out and checked it over. Tomorrow I'll hook it up without the belt and check the heat output and do some more seal checks and shit. I'd like to find a dead/used HF for replacement parts... Ima' look into that too. Thanks for your responses, keep em coming. I can use all the info I can get.

I am also having this problem again. I do the tapping on the stuck valves pretty often but it isn't working this time, i am getting the tapping/ticking noise when it says it is filling so it sounds like the check valve but they won't come loose to fill the tank
