Glass dabbers or metal dabbers, what do you prefer and why?

dabbers...don't really matter either way to me. nails...i'd rather have titanium. idk if that helps at all....

I voted metal, although I don't usually mind a glass dabber. Ti, for the sticky stuff. glass for the crumbe (IMO). I know people who have snapped both the Ti and glass dabbers. I also know alot of people who prefer the Ti because of the numerous options of tips. Some people claim the two taste different but I also think it has to do with what type of material you're dabbing off (Ti, quarts, or ceramic).

I like my Ti dabber, just because it comes to a nice point. I take pussy dabs, so it helps me control it. I feel like with a glass dabber (at least the ones I own) it's not as easy to get a small dose. I know you didn't ask about nails....but I like quartz. I am not one of those people deadset on telling everyone how bad Ti is for you. I simple like quartz because it tastes better. I have consistently had the same oil, and Ti doesn't taste bad or whatever....I just think the quartz tastes better. Several of my friends have never used a quartz, and all have purchased one after using mine (and mine is just some no brand name quartz)

glass dabber tips suck, pretty much useless. glass tip dabbing, the stuff runs up the glass, coats it a lot. metal dabbers, it almost all runs down off the metal. now if you take a metal dabbing end and add it to some glass art for a handle, well then you can have an artistic and highly functional dabber :)

I like the metal ones for personally. I would never use one in front of a glass customer though, lol.
I like the metal for the same reason as Mr. Porn. I prefer a small amount and that's tougher to get with the glass.

I sell glass ones in kits and choose glass for aesthetic value.

As far as function goes its metal all the way.

And for the love of god its nice that dabbers allow newbies to make things, but why o why can't they learn to make a proper taper on the end.

I see so many dabbers with like 7 dollars in color three opals and what looks to be a marble cold sealed on the tip.

I was able to get a few different Ti dental tools from my uncle, who is a dentist. I also like smaller dabs and prefer the pick. It's especially nice for scraping out the last of the dabs also.

For nails, I like my basic quartz 19mm nail. Nothing to clean, nothing to break, nothing to worry about.

I think shops sell more ti fo sure...sorry guys....glass ones break pretty fast....which is good for biz. But from a health perspective nothing beats glass...god knows whuts coated on the metal ones...MIC...(made in china)

I go with Ti for a couple of reasons....

I still use glass dishes and a flat-head Ti dabber is ideal. Glass on glass scraping sucks.

can't get as fine of a pointed tip with glass.... which is important because the oil climbs up the glass when you dab - especially those people that "swirl" the dabber on the nail.... more oil climbing up the dabber means less in your lungs

and yeah, I always break my glass dabbers.

I've only been buying Highly Educated because they are cheap now (~$15-$20) and I know they are G2, Made in USA.

I prefer ti, I only use glass because I can make them and have a bunch of different looking ones. If I didn't have a torch it'd be ti all day.

I am also a fan of the dental pick, but I couldn't find one that was TI to use. I got a nice TI one from High Priority that still had a nice point, and I've learned to like it. If the nail is actually TI like it should be, there are no ill health effects. However, the risk with buying Chinese TI is that it isn't actually TI, it will have different types of aluminum mixed in, which obviously is poison :)
