I'm not affiliated with it at all.

Heres the description:
Want to learn more about glassblowing? Help be a part of creating this series! Something worth learning, worth watching.

About The Series.

This 12 episode series is intended to take you gradually through the glassblowing process and help you get to know the tools and even the science behind the art. By the end of the series you'll have the comprehensive knowledge of a beginner glassblower.

Our glassblowing lead for the series will be Jason Barrett who has been in the craft for a decade. He'll help show us how to make the various objects every glassblower learns in the beginning of their career and a few tips and tricks along the way.

From what I have seen joining the melting pot and watching you tube plus hours on the torch makes a decent noob.

As long as they don't run before they walk.

Sounds good but I follow lots of kick starter and this doesnt seem like its going to garner to much attention unless by glassblowers.

Imo it doesnt sound like a very confident or detailed pitch. Why make the series? "Because I want to be that person" isn't a good lead-in for your mission statement either. Purchasing hd equipment and editing software doesnt gaurentee to sponsors that you know how to use it or can hire the proper help to do it within the budget. Does a subscription to the series cost money? Leaves many unanswered questions on my end.

Honestly I don't know how much knowledge someone will have after 4 hours of instruction even from a master glass blower and educator.

That being said they arnt looking for that much money and iv seen some ridiculous things get funding rather quickly, so it has a shot. Good luck hope it turns out and they make a good series.
