My name is Nick I am from Philly and I am new to lampworking I am building a studio in my basement for my lady and I. She brings out the artist in me she paints and tattoos and has gotten me into the same and once I saw what can be done with glass I knew this was my medium. I am good at engineering things, I build engines for drag racing motorcycles (dragbikes) and I have always enjoyed coming up with new ways to do things. I already have my torch and some odds and ends, I am just waiting on the cash to put the rest of the studio together. I am so excited to get started, I am working on starting two businesses at once. I know it will take a long time to be able to create the visions I have for glass but I am also building a sensory deprivation chamber business and I cant wait to be working for myself again. I look forward to showing my progression on here and I hope to be able to work with everyone here on the forum to further my skills.
