Glass Drip Tips for e-cigs & pv's

I was wondering if anyone has any experience making glass drip tips for 501 sized e-cigs and pv's (personal vaporizors). I've been experimenting without success so far.

These give me the idea to maria the very end and blow out right after for an o ring stop. Have to figure out sizing for though. The OD of the o ring "seat" is 6.5mm. I'll try it with my 6 mil. Maybe different sized o rings could open up options.

This one looks like it's ground down for the o ring. Don't have cold working equip yet.

I havn't had any luck with marvering the tube for the o ring "seat". Plus it constricts the already tiny tube. Not what we want.

I'll try and post pics but ive made quite a few.

Get a drill and a dremel, buy a diamond blade, leave tip on blow tube (not a point).

Anneal tip on blow tube over night. Chuck up to drill, spin drill and use diamond tip on dremel to score groove. Remove tip from blow tube and bamm. Flame polish if you want.

Sweet! That is definitely it! Now I want to buy a pen lathe.

I need some 8.2mm rod. Here are the specs I got using calipers on an aluminum drip tip that came with my nimbus clone atomizer.

I found that I need to use a score hitting it with a few hot punties to make a clean crack. The first one I tried and snap by hand and broke the ground part. That's the jade green one I ended up repairing.

How awesome would it be if the end of those vaporizers were just the exact size of 14mm male joints, would be so easy and conveinient to make mouth pieces on just even hand made joints . You could even use your dome on your rig if you wanted to.

I'm thinking about making one of these. I have been having issues with grinding the glass down - it creates a weak spot, duh, but I've broken all the test tips I've made so far.
