The switchback was lamped at the bench, blown into the form out of the gloryhole.

A Tazza is a low cut bowl form, the point is that soft glass is the same as lampworking when you have the GTT handtorch at the bench.
Anyway's its just the tip of the iceburg, and the switchback bow-tie looks nice as well;o)

or...you could make abunce of smaller ones..change your axisis and slapem all together..wait can you do that in soft glass? can you re-punty up? ...hmmmmm

you sure can. lino is a master of off-axis incalmo to just name one. most of the production items ive been assisting on in the hot shop have been off-axis pieces.
the only real difference between what is possible in soda lime and what is possible in boro is in the rhythm of reheating.
edit: are you twisting with a punty or using diamond shears or some other method i havent thought of? im going to try diamonds tomorrow for sure, but i'd love to chat more about it if you ever have the time.

Allan Goldfarb has also been pioneering this tech out of the furnace. How about a profile shot to really see the form of the bowl?
