i dont know anything about bunsen besides his last name is honeydew.
would anyone care to just go on and on about different brands, types, styles?

I know a lot of people like the humbolt high temp Bunsen. I prefer the similar one fisher makes. Carlisle also makes a similar Bunsen.
Then you have the 4 barrel bunsens. They are nice because of the low profile.
Really depends on your application. Some bunsens work fine side mounted others need to be vertical.

how much hotter are the high temp " burners?
ooh which ones can go sideways?
i dont do lathe work yet so low profile would be good.
whats the heat like coming off a four banger vs a high heat?
i seem to remember seeing a high heat with interchangeable heads or something is that real?

I got two carlisle 4 barrels. I think they are awesome. I use them on my small lathe where the tall ones wouldn't work. They're cheaper directly from carlisle than any of there distributors if I remember correctly.
