ive seen 3a blowpipes with a quartz tube replacing the tube and tip.

i was wondering how to manage the connection at the compression fitting.

I've made quartz tips for my Carlisle hand torch. I just find a tube that's close to the size of the hole in the nut that holds the neck to the body and make a thick diamond shape Maria that fits inside the carborator of the torch. And fits snugly when the nut is tightened to the body of the torch Takes alil trial an error. Then I seal with the nut floating on the tube to the torch tip I made. Hope this helps
