I was wondering if anyone has any input on the various India made lathes. There seems to be a few companies out there doing it.

I've yet to hear anything good. I'm thinking I'd rather pay 10k for a 30 year old Litton than pay the same for a new Indian or Chinese lathe.

Does anyone have any experience on one? I know a few shops use them.

I knew somebody who owned a benchtop Indian lathe, got it brand new. Within a couple of years it was completely fucked (actually not sure if it always was). He managed to make a lot of sick pieces on that piece of shit, but eventually it was just unworkable. He just got a 40 year old Heathway the same vintage as mine, it's tits and he loves it.
Moral of the story, Indian food and culture is awesome, their lathes suck.
