How ever the crap you spell that!?!
The new Glassline arrived today and GA is introducing 2 new opaque blue colors: BipidibopidityBlue and Lapis.
Bippidutytyoppy...argh...The first one Looks like a fun color aside from the fruity name. :tongue2: GA must have worked out the bugs in the Sno White as that appears to be the base color for these two new ones.
Anyone try this stuff out yet? I'm gonna try to pick some up on Monday...
...and I hope I'm not doing this by Monday night>>>:bangHead:

Yeah, I got a sample in Tucson...
I gave half of the sticks to a friend, though, and lost the Bidibo whatever.
The Lapis is cool nice. I used half the stick as a pendant backing; it's interesting because you can see a bunch of weird fibrous striations from the texture of the white.

That's what I was wondering. Do they go away at all? They don't look smooth and creamy like Aqua Azul or Peacock. Cool shades though!

hey julian are you in AZ? we should chill sometime if your not too far away....I also got the samples in Tucson.
The rods are sort of grainy and not creamy at all........sort of feels like star white on the surface before you melt it....then it gets smooth and works like a crayon color.
bib-bob-blue is a great color...but impossible to spell...it might have a bit too much white in it becuase in certain things it can appear white..
lapis is also cool but not as useful (to me) since it is really similar to other colors. hyacinth is almost identical to lapis except lapis has slightly more blue.
both stay opaque even in stringers........
a 5 inch rod isn't nearly enough for me to have tested the color very well.....but so far they seem worth reccomending....
heres a picture of sno white compared to bibittybobbityblue

I WISH I was in Arizona! But we were just visiting for the shows.
Yeah, it's not a smooth and creamy color like Peacock at all. It's a lot less heat sensitive than your average cadmium color, though.
It makes good stringers and solid things...
the lapis pendant background I did looked downright weird, kind of like a special effect actually...
I like the sno white, it seems to get soft at a slightly lower temp than star white. I'll likely order some, once I can actually spend money on color again. I still have a lot from 2004 that I'm working on diminishing...

Um... Anyway, heres a photo of the pendant I made with this color. You can kind of see how it's a dark blue with weird white lines. The flower is made from NS Periwinkle with GA Orange Crayon and Amazon Lagoon. The background is Lapis, of course, as is the loop.

obviously i'd have to see it in person, but that looks like an interesting color. slightly limited as far as uses go (if you want a solid color), but very cool. is it currently in production or were these just feedback samples?
EDIT: have you tried remixing the color at all? i almost always remix my whites before i use them and they get MUCH creamier and more consistant. lemme know if you try.

I tried remixing my remaining 2 inches of Bibidobobidipity and it does get a lot more consistent looking.
I definitely like this color.

i've been playing around with them a little. was very excited after the sno white, because that stuff is simply amazing, but a little disappointed the two blues are not as dense as the white. the white will do hairline stringer, but the blues are a little thinner and not nearly as dense as perriwinkle or hyacinth (2 similar colors). i do like the actual colors though they need a little hand mixing. because the base glass is different, the colors are more blue.

So i looked at the coin picture on GA's website but I would like to ask anyone who actually has some of this color.... Is it sky blue or like the parramore baby blue. I was told it was but it does not look as such ...... Anyone?
