the red is SICK! i just got some in stock. its way dark and very opaque. the yellow is similar to Yellow Crayon.
i took pics of all the precision colors i have in stock for my site. they are good examples of what the colors really look like.

the red has been pretty good to me but the yellow boils more than i would like. im extremely happy with just about all the other precision colors i have tried...plum kush, all the obtaniums, silver sea weed, silver creek, crystal bliss, and blue thunder are instant favorites... maybe im just not good at working them but i feel like i had more luck with glass alchemys cadmium colors.

I have used both these colors and I must say, the red is pretty sweet. Works very easily and gives a deep opaque red. Precisions red is a BIT darker than GA's crayon red, but still quite comparible. The yellow from precision looks more like a yellow/orange to me. It's very similar to Goldenrod from NS.
Chuckworks - If you're looking for a nice bright orange, try momka's sunset orange. It's my favorite orange I've found so far.

Ilove the way taht all cads are different colors on different batches. From all companies iv noticed. Just when i think i like the orange a certain company puts out, I order a couple lbs, and its different.

My observation on cadmium's are, theirs only a slight variation. Some bubble more, some less, you take the more, work it farther out and its a less, the important question is, how much different is it than anothers? Are you relying on what you like or your customers like in finished piece? Am I making pieces to satisfy myself, or to sell to others? Whats their take...or do they really notice, how knowlegable are they on a sunset yellow or an acid? Thats why I ask, its ease of use for us, but the buyer don't know shit or care as long as its clean...am I right? The colors are here for us to enjoy, but unless we have an unlimited resource of cash, I cant see being discriminate on whos color is tops if its going out the door, just curious, I know it matters to us as flameworkers as to ease of use, but we aint buying our own finished product, so thats my question on preference pertaining to prodo work only?

Yeah I wish I had bought like 5 lbs of ns cherry when it was bomb, ditto for alchemy orange and yellow crayon, they used to be bold...
