I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some tech on encasing large opal coins or flat opals. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

heat it up in your kiln. Then take a gather on a rod and stick it to the opal to pick it up. Then encase the back with another gather from your rod.

I drop them into tubing and condense.

Flatten bubble, open end like a coin slot. drop the coin in, and seal up the end. Encase and skin the surface as usual then build mass around the opal accordingly.
