Hello
I've seen people sell Mario glass works, and I just want to know are you allowed to sell it, or did they do it with permission with Nintendo?

your not allowed to distribute copyrighted images for personal gain. if your selling your wares at a craft fair or on the street corner i wouldnt be to worried. but ive seen small discussions about this in the past here and some blowers dont use cartoon millies for this particular reason.

I used to manage a head shop here in Eugene. U of o reps would come through a couple times a year, making sure there were no u of o logos on pipes. They were fine with Dichro images on jars or pendants, but not pipes.
With people getting paid real big money for pieces directly modeled after characters or iconic elements of characters(vader helmet, milli characters etc), I can see cease and desist orders, and if there's enough cheddar to make it worth the allocation of resources to sue, infringement/ royalty suits beig filed.
Mo money mo problems.

Grateful Dead merchandising or GDM for short, goes around the lots looking for unlicensed images all the time too. I hear it is enforced by Jerry Garcia's brother too. I guess everyone needs a job right? Even if your Jerry's brother. I guess he looks just like Jerry too. My friend told me about people getting busted for steal your face images in the lots by the guy in a golf cart.
