Don't know how we could forget to post about this here a little earlier...
Well, we had our First Flameoff in Europe, hosted by the great people of SmokingGear in Åalborg/Denmark. SmokingGear provided all the technical facilities and took care of sponsors etc. Great job!
In order to dodge all the rules about prep etc. we made it like a "Top Chef" challenge, with everybody provided with the same amount of prep (color rods, full color tube, unlimited clear and Gong), which was really fun!
Pieces were judged by Bryan Dosher aka Doshworld and Ben Evers aka BE Glassworks. We had three contestants from the UK and a german dude, myself...
It was all documented by Austria's top Mary Jane-guerilla Van Hazeing, great job! Watch out for them at Expos worldwide, incl. Argentina, Chile, Prague, Barcelona... in 2015! I love those guys!!
Weekend showed, we're off to a good start, next years event is already in planning and we will showcase our stuff together at different european shows, next one being Spannabis in Barcelona
