third day beginners first bowl and pendent

some work i just did...but im having the hardest time with my blowtube/mouthpeice connections they crack almost ever
time wether beging or end of working it. its fully melted in both ends equally hot...is it cause im in garage and outside its like 30 degrees?? oh well more practice and time.:)

Get that blow tube connection hot as shit and give it a little puff and pull, I thought I was doing them hot enough for a while but I wasnt. If you don't want it to crack on you it needs to be one smooth piece of glass from blow tube to blank. Make sure your tube opening isn't way thicker than the blow tube you are connecting, remember you want it smooth. Get it hot

And then when you go back in on it start wayyyy out in the flame, if the rest of the piece takes you a while you might even want to use an annealing flame
