Advice about encasing millies (particularly smaller ones)

I've not done any millie encasements myself, and the only kind I have seen done in person are the stick and snap method (not always the best method) so I am wondering if anyone has any good advice they may have learned about encasing millies, giving them a lens, and attaching them to a piece.

I've got some smaller ones I'll be working with, so it would also be great to receive some advice on that.

I am more referring to how to encase millie coins that have already been cut.

stick it in the kiln on a glass tray with a handle for a bit, when you pull it out you can pick it up with a melty rod, aiming the flame at teh millie surface and the rod end at the same time. then encase the other side.

Lately I've been punty-ing up to my warm millie rod then nipping a decent chip off.

I'll add a dot of color to the other side of the chip and melt it on.

Punty to that side and flame cut enough of your first punty so when you melt it in it makes a nice magnifying lens.

Switch punty again and it's ready to stick where you want.
