pipemakers --->>> marblesmakers ... article for marble book?!

hey this post is aimed at any of you marblemakers that started your career making pipes, or have some relationship with pipemaking....

im interested in putting together a short written thing for the next Mark Block contemporary marble book on the effects pipemaking has had on the borosilicate marble scene.

I would like to include as much input and perspectives as i can by any boro marble/pipe people that wish to participate.

couple questions to keep in mind:

has the artwork you did in your pipe designs affected your marble designs?

part b of that, how would you describe how techs and styles popularized in the pipe scene have influenced or crossed over to the marble world?

and, why marbles? instead of sculpture, goblets, pendants, dildos, etc...??

would you have gotten involved in glass if it wasnt for glass pipes?

do you think there would be as many boro marble makers and styles of boro mibs around today without pipemaking?
