its pretty mesmerizing. it was made from rod stock, no tubing prep. Throughout the piece. Historically speaking, its an epic piece. The joints show how he was just beginning to experiment with opal frit/cane tubing and had not quite figured out how to cover up his seals where he joined the cane to make it into tubing.

Trade for an old school ham piece? Not a Hamm piece, but literally an old piece of ham that I just found under some slightly newer applesauce.

Really though, if you are serious I would like to see the piece. Been awhile since I have seen an old school cane stack. Some of his buddies were raging that tech around the same time as well. In fact, a lot of people were experimenting with turning solid forms into tube. I used to take two disks and sandwich them together to make a tube after Matt from Eugene Rain showed me that. He would do that as well as fold a disk in half to make a taco.

Cane stacking was cool though, I thought it made the best line tubing pre stick stack.
