Mecha Pendant!!
Up for auction we have a gorgeous Crystal Blue Baby Dragon Skull Pendant made and donated by Mecha, aka Jesse Whipkey! A little about Jesse:
I got started in glass back in 1997, in Tucson Arizona. While going to school out there, I stumbled upon a glass studio near a friends house, close to the University. I ended up working there for about a year or so until it closed down, and then went off on my own. In 2001, I was offered a part time scientific glass blowing position that I stayed with until mid 2005. I have been completely solo ever since.
Order, balance and symmetry in my work is my goal. Almost anything that possesses these traits can be inspiration.
A little about this piece:
Crystal Blue Baby Dragon Skull Pendant
Solid borosilicate. Hot sculpted, cold worked, sandblasted and finished. Measures 2 inches long from the front of the mouth to the tips of the horns.
