I like to make jokes about collaboration. I have students, and often they leave behind broken pieces of this and that, which I'll later on turn into another piece, and then say, "it's a collaborative effort between two glassblowers".

What do you want back?..ill throw u back some sections or a couple marbles if that sounds cool. Im no luke wilson/j.lee when it come to my reversals, but Im competent enough. i just got some jailbird rasta stuff from my boy in vermont so i guess hes all ready thrown in.

I don't have any glow... so its a cane stack with some fume latti i'm making a batch tomorrow i'll post it's got crayola yellow, agua azul, and black cane with crayola red in between every other. half fume and cane other half red and cane.

i used to do this with all the scraps people left on the lamp stations at school. wish i had pics, one of them was almost 3 feet tall.

has anyone considered setting up a collab section in the forums? it seems like that could be really interesting.

I used to work next to someone who was a really talented artist and they'd look it my scrap bucket and turn things I couldn't undo or things I thought were trash into some pretty dope stuff.

colabs are about as good as they are designed, and assembled. You got to have someone who knows how to work with inconsistency of other peoples work or all be on the same level with techs/skills. Or design it well from the get. Sounds like your an expert in colaborative glass artwork : you wanna help me spearhead this project?

So I make a lot of beakers and mini tubes also. 11 years experience and have collaborated on a dozen or more projects so far.
