The first time I ever blew glass was at Glass Craft in Denver. I thought I wanted to own a head shop ever since I stepped foot in one, so this was a dream come true and all the work to get there ended up being worth it. When I got there everyone was really friendly, Shootz was my teacher. By the second day of 3 I had something new to smoke out of and couldn't believe it, at that point I knew I never had to buy another bowl again lol.
Shootz's style of teaching is awesome. He asks what demos we want and even uses the dry erase boards, telling everyone to take notes for the mental connection. He'll walk around and help every single person, then chill and make stuff while answering questions. He was talking to some guy next to me and stopped real quick to tell me my bowl head was the right size when I was puffing it. Glad he did, that was pipes 102 and he had just taught us how to do frit. This was the only one I did nicely and to this day (1 year later) its still on my table. I couldn't have asked for anything more, this place rocks! They are the perfect choice for an introduction to glass blowing.
