After this weekend I plan on having enough pieces to throw in a case and sell... Only issue is this is the first time I'll be selling pieces and I def don't want to under sell my work. What would you guys say I should ask for these? They're mainly all fume except a few are outside frit.i also have some fumed one hitters with a bunch of knobs I was thinking like $5 for those

Iv been able to sell my noobish smaller pieces for 4-5 bucks each and have been damn happy to get that.

The educational value I have gotten from doing them has been a reward in itself. The little bit of money I fetch just buys more glass and propane.

I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $8 for small clear fumed with knobs, $10 for small frit $12-15 for the large/heavy frit and $15-17 for the sherlocks... There have been alot others that didn't make this cut that I would be ok with getting $5 or so but I def feel like these would be worth more than that and don't want a shop to think they can get stuff super cheap all the time

I would be thrown out on the street if I tried to ask those prices for those pieces. The market varies pretty drastically depending on region, so maybe you'll get lucky if there's minimal competition.
But we're getting in to the summer slump and most shops are so inundated by glassblowers that there's a really solid chance you'll just be burning bridges coming in that expensive.
I would say if you find a shop owner who's receptive, ask them to throw out a price, and be prepared to take what they offer.

Ya I'm with the 4- 5 range, as ya get better you'll get more, when frits are on point approx around that size you should get 7-9 for a bunch of um, w/rs around the same, I normally sell quantity tho so maybe 8-10 , like hedcraft said, depends on the region... I'd be careful with those sherlocks, I can't see super well from the picture but it almost looks like there may be some acutes in your bend and they may crack if so, even if it's a week from now, or they can break real easy... no matter what price ya get or the shop pays for your stuff the last thing ya want is for the owner to have to eat the cost cuz of something breaking, they will remember that kinda thing

I would wait a while longer before bringing these into a shop. Those sherlocks are in pretty rough shape and those nubs look like they could pop right off. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Simple fumed n frit maracas, I knock em out by the hundreds, I get a whole whopping $2.81 a piece. I knock out 10-12 an hour no problem, so it adds up to nice wage. This is how I see it, each time I get better and faster and I'm able to knock out 1 extra an hour, that's a $2+ raise, Fuck I'm happy.
I know with time and practice, sky is the limit.

I definitely appreciate the honesty and being that I'm so new I'm not surprised with the prices, I was just going off what I think id see these going retail for...one of those sherlocks will make it the other will be a giveaway, it does have an acute angle on one side of the seal. I agree 100% with the first impression, I'll prob offload these in cheaper shops for now, just trying to make back money for oxy and more glass to practice....those were my first sherlocks btw

I have made spoons with color only on the end for $2.50 before. I hated it. They had to supply the glass and gas and studio space and everything. I did it for a few months a couple times. But I would also get promoted to bubblers all the time after a couple hundred spoons.
I would work on melting the glass in a little more. It is worth what they will pay for it.
I put more work into my spoons and I get more money out of them.

i've got a couple boxes full of stuff that looks like that, when i get frustrated with what im working on i look in those boxes and realize how far i've come. gifts are cool too because then you get to try your piece out and nobody can complain if a free piece breaks or is wonky.
