metal or graphite ring mandrel?

wondering if i should get a metal or graphite ring mandrel for making rings (also wanted to play around with making glass chains), thanks for the advice, also any tips or ticks on rings and bracelet making would be great (or links to good instructional videos)

You need both in my opinion. A large graphite hexagonal reamer is good to make the hole bigger. A metal ring mandrel is used to check size, not to enlarge hole. Here is link to a video you might find helpful.
