YES! this is the biggest i've ever made. don't even want to sell it, but i missed two days of work last week and kinda need the scratch. i'm going to be making more of these in the 2.5" to 3" range when i get my whole sheet of Starship Tical dichro.
$200 shipped with a freebie.
she's 2.45", so close to the 2.5" mark.

thank you Drew, for always drilling "use your fuckin vacuum" into my head. works a charm and is easy as pie once you get the kinks worked out.
^So so long, I struggled making drawn on line work...
Its such an amazing tool, creating endless options.
No one ever understands untill they try it first hand.

Do you happen to have a link for info on using a vacuum with glass handy?
I've got a little adjustable pressure medical surplus pump, and I'd love to know if I can use it for anything with a smaller torch.
Seems like it would be easily enough to hook up to the end of a blow hose and swivel, but I don't have much of an idea what to do with it from there.

i don't....there's got to be a tutorial somewhere....check youtube for "vacuum tube encasement" and you should find what you need.
it's pretty simple, have tube on hollow handle, insert items to be encased, preheat it in the kiln, then put the flame to it and get one side melted shut, then really put the heat to it and work from the closed side to the open side (which will be the handle side).
if BoRo sees this he may be able to give a better explanation, but for the most part it works just like you'd think.

Cool, thanks, that's enough to get me pointed in the right direction to find more info.
