I just got back home after teaching at Philadelphia Glass Works this past weekend.
That place is amazing!!!!
Truthfully, I've never seen a nicer studio/gallery combo anywhere. If you get the chance to go check them out, you will not be disappointed. They have some great work representing many different ways of working glass - flamework, fused/slumped, blown, cast, etc. And Philly possibly has the most happening art scene in the country! Most everyone seemed genuinely excited about art in their city. I was impressed.
