I'm in the same boat, I haven't been on the torch much in the past 4 years, and really hardly at all in the last 2 years. In the last few weeks I've put in more hours that the previous 2 or 3 combined... learning some new tricks, polishing up things I started over a decade ago, and trying to various forget or remember all the things I did wrong and right.

I'm loving every minute of it tho.

For sure. Despite all the frustration, there's nothing I'd rather be doing. I learned a ton going balls to the wall and trying shit that I wasn't ready for, but that shit got expensive. So, back to fundamentals. I never really made many rigs, here is yesterday's attempt. These were my first handmade females. hey bud, great work you got there. what size glass did you use for those rigs and the onies - just curious.

Hey thanks jackass. The onies were on 16mm medium or heavy? I started with 38 heavy on the rigs.

I'm in a glass desert, and one of my shops is about to close. What's it like working with a distributor, and can someone message me some contact info for them? I don't know if there are any shop owners on the forums, but I'm ready to work with you. I really appreciate any leads. I'm making consistent products and lots of them. I'm moving to Oregon in the fall, and it would be great to have some business relationships established by then. Thanks!

Also, i'm a single dad. My son is my apprentice (he's 17) we've got the last eight years and everything we have invested in glass, so somebody drop some knowledge on me. This shop closing is really gonna hurt. They usually buy most of what I make. I'm gonna do the leg work and make it happen, but man it'd be nice to get some good leads. I hate to just shotgun out a mass email.
