For those of you where at AGI last year (if you can remember) I placed a balancing sculpture in the landscaped area next to the big building. The theme was space, planets or planetoids and where to be sealed to the framework. Five examples where made none where seal to the frame by the artists so I went out to Wanka's this weekend and finished the job. The solar system is now finished and it looks great.

I have added this years framework under the solar system for this years event. The theme is ocean creatures and things so start thinking of wet things to seal to the frame. The totem with the 6x6 post now stand over 6'

I would like to fill the space on the 6x6 post with cabs. This space will give everyone a chance to add something each year until we fill it up.

Awesome Bear... I didn't really understand what was happening with that last year. I'm slow and my attention span is short. I'll make something this year for sure. Maybe a bearded clam... a wet one! :lol

What kind of dimensions are you looking for? Can things for it be sculptural, or are you looking for more marbles/beads/paperweights kinda things?

Hey folks. Below is a photo of the "whirly gig". The top portion is completed with the planets and comets (there are more on the other side of it), and the lower part is blank and in need of art work. It looks really cool spinning in the breeze!

It sits on top of a 6 x 6 wood post, and I plan on decorating it with cabachons (sp?), so if anyone would like to add to it you're more than welcome to do so!

Also... if you're interested in attending, please give me a call or e-mail. We're a little over 2 months away from the event and filling up quickly.

Thanks Tom for posting the pic.

So the idea is to keep adding to this thing each year. I am not sure at what point critical mass will be achieved maybe 20' so we probably shouldn't extend to far out from the center line. Just start thinking of under water things.

Smiley a clam is good just make it a little neck not a steamer.

Right now I just have a bunch of logs that I innoculated, and I'm waiting for them to colonize and grow. Hopefully they will be producing by AGI, but I seriously doubt we'll get much (if any).

glass mushrooms on a log would be cool to make, everyone could make one of those, with a peg underneath, drill a hole in the log, and stick it in, silicone works well for this.. something else for the garden.
